The New York Times revela que Bush autorizó al Pentágono a atacar cualquier país

La orden identifica a 15 o 20 países, entre ellos Siria, Paquistán, Yemen y Arabia Saudita, como posible blancos de esas incursiones armadas secretas. Poco después de los atentados del 11 de septiembre de 2001 Bush autorizó a la CIA a matar a los militantes de Al Qaeda en cualquier región del orbe, pero dos años después Rumsfeld presionó para lograr que también se incluyera a las fuerzas armadas, comenta el periódico. No obstante la iniciativa, las operaciones en países considerados sensibles como Paquistán deben recibir luz verde del propio presidente norteamericano, concluye.
